Abstract (EN)

In our country and in the world, especially in the last century, the demand for energy has increased with industrial activities and population. In line with this increasing demand, the reserves of fossil fuels that have been used for many years are also running out. In addition, the harm of fossil fuels to the environment is obvious. The tendency towards renewable energy sources, which are offered as an alternative to the aforementioned damages and depleted reserves, has also increased over time. Biomass energy, which is one of the renewable energy sources, is an energy source whose usage area has increased in recent years. Since forest wastes, agricultural wastes, or wastes obtained from the green areas of cities can also be evaluated, it is an environmentally friendly energy source in terms of using many wastes as fuel as well as providing energy. In this study, densification was made with the pelleting method, which is widely used among biomass condensation methods. Waste coal dust and biomass were pelletized together and evaluated. During the study, it is aimed to find solutions to problems such as friction increase and pressure changes, or blockage of mold holes due to variable biomass and coal dust parameters with flexible bolts. As a result of the study, the distance adjustments between the die disc and the compression rollers were made thanks to the flexible bolt, against the pressure changes that occur in cases of increased friction during the pelleting process, and the production process was improved.
