In this study, oil market structure of some selected EU countries is aimed to make a comparative analysis of the market structure of the oil industry in the Turkey. Qualitative comparative analysis method was used in the research. Within the scope of the study, general view and structure of the oil market, actors of the oil market and their effects on the market, property structures, conditions of competition, general view and market structure of the oil industry in the European Union, general view and market of the oil industry in the Turkey has been examined and Turkey has put forward policy recommendations regarding the petroleum market.
