Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, oil is the most important raw material in the formation and formation of political and economic life. Oil is one of the key inputs in the development and development of a country; It is a strategic substance that shapes and transforms the countries, the international system, the power struggle between states and the course of wars. The petroleum sector has its own operating principles and characteristics. This separates the oil sector from other sectors. Oil sector; starting from oil exploration, drilling, production, transportation, refining, distribution, marketing of oil is a very large sector. In this study, oil market structure of some selected EU countries is aimed to make a comparative analysis of the market structure of the oil industry in the Turkey. Qualitative comparative analysis method was used in the research. Within the scope of the study, general view and structure of the oil market, actors of the oil market and their effects on the market, property structures, conditions of competition, general view and market structure of the oil industry in the European Union, general view and market of the oil industry in the Turkey has been examined and Turkey has put forward policy recommendations regarding the petroleum market.
