The systemconsists a microcontroller, temperature sensor, switch and an ethernet chip. As amicrocontroller, PIC microcontroller was used. The embedded system wasdesigned to control an air conditioner unit. The value read from the temperaturesensor, which is connected to the digital/analog converter (DAC) of themicrocontroller, provides the air conditioner unit to start or to stop the service.This process is based on the power circuit of the air conditioner unit to turn on orturn off with a switch connected to the microcontroller. Above the specified heatvalues, the air conditioner unit starts to service on the other hand, below thesevalues the air conditioner unit stops. The data, which is sent using TCP/IP stackby ethernet card, the temperature values and the state of the air conditioner unit, ismonitored by a program on a specified network computer. The end user canintervene the service of the air conditioner unit without paying attention to thetemperature values whenever he/she wants.Keywords: Embedded Systems, PIC Microcontroller, Temperature Sensor,Climate Control, TCP/IP Stackii
