Abstract (EN)

Automation is the whole system that enables things to be done automatically without human intervention in industry, management and scientific works to facilitate human life. In other words, they are systems designed to ensure that some work done by humans is done by machines and that the order of operations is controlled without the need for human intervention. As a result of the rapid spread of automation technologies in the industry, Pick-Place machines have been widely used in different application areas. Its first industrial appearance was in 1959 in the foundry of General Motors for the transport of hot materials. Since then, the usage area of these machines has increased day by day. Today, Pick-Place machines have become the most needed systems for the structures we call Micromachining. These machines are frequently used in work areas such as image processing with camera placement, component arranging and soldering on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) board, places where chemicals harmful to human health are used, clean room applications, transporting parts that are difficult to be lifted by humans, with adapted auxiliary systems. The machine built within the scope of the project is preferable for small businesses since it is portable and cost-effective. In this study, there is a vacuum gripper holder connected to a 3-axis motion system operating in a Cartesian system. The project aims to arrange these components on the electronic card more precisely and quickly, whereas the electronic card was previously arranged manually on the PCB. Before the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components to be placed on the PCB board are placed on the PCB board, they must be arranged on the carrier tray called "Vacuum Gel Pack (VGP)". Stepper motors in the project were connected to TB6600 drivers and controlled via Arduino Mega 2560 board. "Two 5V Relay Board" is used to ensure that the 24V solenoid valve used in the vacuum holder in the gripper part communicates with the Arduino Mega 2560. "Autonics PSAN" brand vacuum sensor is used to control whether the component is taken by the vacuum holder. Programming the system "C Sharp" performed with software. Modeling of the project was done with Solidworks program.
