An effectivenes review on the socio-economic situation of TRC3 region on the fight against terrorism in Türkiye in the context of the reasons for joining the PKK/KCK terrorist organization

Terror and terrorism have historically been a major social problem area for societies. In our country, during the Republican period, the PKK terrorist organization has caused a large number of casualties and property losses, and has been a major obstacle to the development of our country's welfare level for years due to the resources spent on the fight against terrorism. Today, even though the terrorist organization has been brought to the point of ending by utilizing military successes and technological means, it is successful in maintaining its existence with the strategies it uses in recruiting militants. In this study; the extent to which the PKK terrorist organization recruits militants by taking advantage of the disadvantages arising from the socio-economic structure of the Southeastern Anatolian provinces, the effectiveness of the social policies implemented by the state to prevent terrorism in the region in question, the new techniques used by the terrorist organization to gain young masses, new social problem areas that interact with the social problem of terrorism and the solution suggestions that can be applied to these areas are discussed.
