Abstract (EN)

Grader blades are made of boron steels due to their superior properties such as high strength and high impact resistance. The wear resistance of boron steels is not desired. Coated with WC-12Co (tungsten-carbide) in grain sizes of 200, 300 and 400 µm. Coated hardness and abrasion tests of coated grader blades were investigated. In addition, the micro structure and SEM investigations of the results of the examination of the material on the surface of a porous cover was closed. Abrasion tests show the width of the wear resistance with increased thick coating. Keywords: Grader blade,Boron Steel,Tungsten Carbide,Plasma Method,Wear
