Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to evaluate whether there is a need for security-rooted international organizations which came to life especially after World War II, to establish and maintain the international security environment in the light of the concept of pluralistic security community, an affective formation established by Karl Deutsch and his collegues following World War II in order to either diminish or decrease the possibilty of war in today's world entering into a new era by the end of theCold War, one of most important milestones of humankind, yet unlearnt not to war despite leaving behing two major wars in the last century. In first chapter, the English School has been taken as the core theorical approach to set the conceptual framework. In second chapter, historical telling has been taken as the core approach to present the roles and functions of security-rooted international organizations within pluralistic security communities. In third chapter, case study has been utilized to examine the relationships and cooperations between NATO and European Union and therefore it is evaluated that there is a need for international security organizations to establish international security till the world society is accomplished.
