Embryos obtained by intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI); Freezing-thawed embryo transfer is thought to increase the pregnancy rate in PCOS patients to prevent the risk of OHSS and to increase endometrial receptivity and implantation. Ovulation induction drugs used to obtain a large number of oocytes in In Vitro fertilization cycles disrupt endometrial receptivity and reduce implantation. HCG stimulation plays an important role in the development of OHSS. However, OHS is prevented by providing egg maturation with GnRH analogue that does not cause OHSS instead of HCG, and the patient is protected from possible risks by transferring frozen-thawed embryos because GnRH analogue causes inadequate luteal phase support. In this study, 100 polycystic ovary patients were prospectively randomized. The data of these patients were obtained randomly from 50 fresh HCG-induced embryo transfer groups and 50 of the patients were from the frozen embryo transfer group triggered by the GnRH analogue. In the study, routine hormone analysis (E2, FSH and LH) values were obtained from patient files. There was no difference between the two groups in terms of basal hormone values, endometrial thickness and embryo quality. Serum AMH levels were higher in the freeze-thawed embryo transfer group. Although clinical pregnancy rates were higher in frozen cycles, no statistical difference was found. It was found that freeze-thawed embryo transfer in polycystic ovary patients had similar results with fresh embryo transfer and it could be a good clinical approach for OHSS prevention.
