Özet (EN)

This study was focused on the synthesis and characterization of polymer derived SiOC powders. SiOC powders were synthesized via sol-gel process. Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) and Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) were used as a precursors to obtain organic-inorganic structure. After this gelation process, dried powders were heated under Argon atmosphere at 1100°C to attain aimed phases and structure. The characterization of synthesized powders was performed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Differential Thermal Analyzer (DTA) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). In addition to these analyses, high temperature X-ray Diffractometer (HT-XRD) was used to determine simultaneously phase changes upon heating at 1500°C under Helium atmosphere.
