Özet (EN)

This work examines the possibility of political praxis developed on the basis of the concept of "history" of Walter Benjamin. The notion of history is treated in it as a "monad" containing a traditional experience and the critique of the theory of history. The examination of the relation between history and experience exposes both the political nature of Benjamin's notion of history and the fact that it contains epistemological references. Still, it is not implied that an epistemology can be deducted from every theory of political philosophy. At this point of the work, the notion of political praxis is proposed. Political praxis stands for subjecting the theory of experience to historical critique as well as creating a space for freedom by developing a distinctive theory of experience to accompany the theory of history. In order to do so, in the work, a critique of the traditional theory of experience is conducted. Later on, an attempt to deepen the claim of a 'Copernican revolution in history' is made by trying to propose a critique of linear history on the basis of the concepts of Ursprung and Urgeschichte belonging to Benjamin's theory of history. Finally, with the association of poiesis and praxis, it is indicated that Benjamin's history is aimed, rather than at a new "historiography" or "philosophy of history", at the creation of possibilities of liberating the historical subjects.
