Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to bring the political dipinto and graffito inscriptions in the ancient city of Pompeii together and to examine them epigraphically. In the first chapter, the historical geography and a brief history of Pompeii are given in the light of ancient sources and modern research as an introduction to the subject. In the second chapter, the public officials encountered in dipinto and graffito and their election processes are examined. In the third chapter, a catalog of numerous political propaganda inscriptions including public offices was prepared. The catalog classified them according to the career levels of the ordo decurionum. At the end of the thesis, the distributions of the numerals of public offices seen in the inscriptions and of the dipinto and the graffito with political content in Pompeii by years are given in two graphs.
