Abstract (EN)

In order to examine the usability of pumice stone waste mud used for jeans bleaching in the textile industry as lightweight construction material in the construction industry. Firstly, waste sludge was dried for 24 hours in 105 °C for dewatering. Sample was taken from the dried waste pumice stone mud and the grain diameter was determined by performing sieve analysis. After performing the sieve analysis, the material to be used for concrete casting was determined according to the results of this analysis. According to the determined quantities, 6 reference samples were cast into the casting molds of 15x15x15. These spilled samples were removed from the molds after drying and placed in a water tank for 28 days. Based on the calculations made for the concrete mixture, the total amount of aggregate was reduced by 10% slice, dried waste pumice was added and 6 pieces of concrete were cast for each % slice. After this casting process, the concrete that dried in the molds is removed and put into the water pool. The concrete placed in the water pool was subjected to a strength test at the end of the 28th day. The samples that meet the C 25/30 criteria according to the dispersion charts in the strength test are samples containing 30% and 40% pumice waste. The sample pressure resistance with 80% pumice waste was at least realized. As a result of the strength test, the most durable concrete and the most suitable amount of waste pumice to be used instead of the aggregate were also determined.
