Abstract (EN)
In this study, essential oil was obtained by solvent free microwave extraction (SFME) method from peel of yafa genus orange which provided from Adana region. Extraction yield of obtained essential oil was calculated, and content analysis of EO was done by GC-MS method. Physical properties like refractive index, optical rotation angle and solubility in alcohol were identified. Obtained essential oil was encapsulated by sol-gel method via taking into silica matrix. Encapsulation yield of essantial oil was found by thermogravimetric method, essential oil content after encapsulation was also determined by GC-MS method.
