Abstract (EN)
Industrialization has been able to influence the whole World from the moment it emerged. States which have met science and technology have begun to reshape the world's and their social orders. Industrialization has not only profoundly affected the global economy, it has also brought social and political changes in the societies that have been affected and therefore the relations between countries have gained a new dimension. Moreover, due to the competition and colonialism caused by industrialization, various wars occurred in the international arena and all these developments prepared the ground for the First and Second World Wars. At the end of the Second World War, the capitalist structure of post-industrial capitalism has begun to change. And then, ''the concept of knowledge'' that would not come to mind when the term imperialism is used, began to be used as a tool for imperialism, and the World began to witness the increase of the states that carried out their imperialist aims by using knowledge. For this reason, in this thesis, the processes that are effective in bringing imperialism to this point are discussed and in a way that brings the journey of imperialism under scrutiny.
