Abstract (EN)
In this study, aimes to examine the effectiveness of vocal warm up exercises by measuring the acoustic and aerodynamic parameters in the postmenopausal women and young women before and after vocal warm up exercises. Postmenopausal female individuals consisting of 23 participants and young female individuals consisting of 23 participants were included in the study. Comprehensive vocal warm up exercises were applied in one session to the two groups. In our study, the acoustic parameters analyzed within and between groups were measured with MDVP and aerodynamic parameters with a stopwatch. When the results were analyzed in the study, the fundamental frequency and maximum phonation time were observed less in postmenopausal female individuals compared to young female individuals in the first measurements between groups; Shimmer, noise harmonic ratio and soft phonation index parameters were found to be higher. After the vocal warm up exercise, an increase in the fundamental frequency, and a decrease in the jitter and soft phonation index were observed in both groups. However, the s / z ratio and shimmer value decreased only in the postmenopausal group. As a result of the findings obtained from the study, it is thought that sound warming exercises have an effect on acoustic and aerodynamic parameters.
