The effects of positive psychological capital on the burnout and engagement process: A study of health workers in Afyon city centre

This study has been conducted to unearth whether positive psychological capital which is effective of gaining positive results from human capital that is the most crucial input for particularly service sector has an effect on two critical varieties such as burnout and engagement, and if so, in what way they have created effect. Within this scope, a research has been carried out on health workers working in Afyon city centre. In total, the survey has been applied on 211 health workers; The obtained data has been analysed with SPSS statistics package program and the results has seemed to confirm the hypothesis of the research. In consequence of the search, it has been inferred that there is a negative and meaningful relationship between psychological capital and burnout of the health workers, but a positive and meaningful relationship between their engagements.
