Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between presenteeism and perceived social support, the relationship between perceived social support and job performance, the relationship between presenteeism and job performance, and the mediating role of perceived social support in the effect of presenteeism on job performance. In the theoretical section of the study, the concepts of presenteeism, job performance, and perceived social support are explained conceptually. Relevant studies on these three variables have been reviewed in the literature, and based on this framework, the research model has been constructed and the hypotheses of the study have been developed. In order to test the hypotheses developed, data were collected from 379 employees of Bayburt State Hospital using a survey method, and the analyses were conducted through the SPSS and JAMOVI software programs. The results revealed that the relationship between presenteeism and job performance, as well as the relationship between perceived social support and job performance, was found to be statistically significant. However, the relationship between presenteeism and perceived social support was not found to be significant. Furthermore, it was concluded that perceived social support does not have a mediating role in the effect of presenteeism on job performance. Keywords: Presenteeism, job performance, perceived social support.
