Özet (EN)

Today, clinical trials are performed in the production of various chemicals in medicine and many other fields. In these experiments the lethal dose (LD50) is calculated. Biological testing is to examine the responses of different dosage levels of the active substances applied to a biological organism. Said LD50 value can be defined as the killing, damaging capacity of an active substance. In the experiments, the lethal calculation of the organism by using the responses given to different doses is called probit analysis. In this study, in general, probit analysis is a method for solving what kind of problems in the field, its place in the field of health, the probability distribution it uses, and the mathematical foundations of this analysis will be examined. The aim of this study is to examine the calculation methods for the application of this method in the field of health, and to apply the data to the data by using the synthetic data in the findings section. In the application part, manual data analysis will be done and the theoretical properties of probit analysis will be mentioned in these calculations. The same data will be calculated in computer environment and the results will be compared with each other and their differences, advantages and disadvantages will be examined.
