Özet (EN)
Uncontrolled proliferation of cells as a result of genetic and environmental changes is often referred to as cancer. Bowel cancer is also known as large intestine (colon) cancer and colorectal cancer. Among the cancer types, colorectal cancers are commonly seen and mortally coursed. Nutritional habits have a serious impact on the increase in colorectal cancers, which are common in our country and in the world. For this reason, scientists are currently working with the goal to develop additional food supplements that reduce the risk of cancer and to reveal the importance of the most optimal nutritional design. In this study, two different probiotic strains and postbiotics obtained from them, were applied to colon cancer cell lines. In the study, both the effects on the viability of cancer cells and their effects on migration were examined together. Our application results showed that probiotics and postbiotics had a significant effect on cell viability and migration.
