SUMMARY In this work,Korkut Boratav Ph. D's life, works, ideas, applications and cantributions to the Turkish society are studied.This study is based on Boratav's book's and articles published in scientific journals.Boratav's studies were introduced after examinng his corriculum vitea.After appraising his applications, the question of "How can we utilize the works of Prof.Boratav in the future?"is eveluated.Some suggestions are listed in the light of findings and a general evaluation is given as a conclusion.
