The life, works, ideology and practises of Prof. Dr. Yakup Kepenek and his contributions to Turkish social life

In this thesis, the works, main ideas and practices of Prof. Dr. Yakup KEPENEK are anauted in terms of his contributions to Turkish Social life. It is presented with the classificaution of his works after analyting his personal background. This thesis is based on his Works (boks, articies, coloums). Some coloms which are thought to be important are placed in this thesis. His ideas are divided into seven groups: (1) His Ideas on CHP, (2) His Ideas on commonwealth, (3) His Ideas on State Economic Enterprise, (4) His Ideas on İndustry, (5) His Ideas on Education, Science and Culture, (6) His Ideas on 12 Eylül, (7) His Ideas on Economy. Also, critics towards him and the ideas appased to him are presented. After analysing his practices it is exalwated that " how can we take advantage of Prof. Dr. Yakup KEPENEK?". In response to findigs some suggestions are brought on and in the canclusion part a general evaluation is made and suggestions are given to the senior resear chers.
