Teaching methods and techniques in Arabic preparation classes in project İmam- Hatip high schools

Imam-Hatip schools in Turkey has made rapid progress in having a substantial place among project schools in recent years. Some of these schools have Arabic and English preparatory classes. In thşs study, Arabic teaching methods and techniques used in Arabic prep classes were analyzed and identified. In the first part of our study, te importance of Arabic in Turkey and group of information about the institutions and organizations in Turkey which provide Arabic education. In the second part; The questionnaires were applied to students and Arabic teachers who were studying/working in Arabic prep classes of Project Imam-Hatip High Schools; and these questionnaires were evaluated. In the result section, the information obtained from the survey data was concluded and recommendations were made. The aim of our study is firstly to determine Arabic teaching methods and techniques in Arabic prep classes and then to determine the success level of these methods and techniques on students. It is also thoutght that this study will guide the Arabic teachers in selecting method and technique for teaching.
