For the statistical significance level, p<0.05 was accepted. 55.7% of the individuals participating in the study were female, 40% were single, the average age was 36.84±10.15, 47.4% were primary school graduates, 68,7%, of them were unemployed, 55.6% had a medium income were determined. It was determined that the mean score of the participants in the Recovery Stages Scale moratorium sub-dimension was 12.68±8.40, the mean score of the awareness sub-dimension was 15.28±7.92, the mean score they got from the preparation sub-dimension was 15.96±7.54, the mean score they got from the rebuilding sub-dimension was 14.72±8.85 and the average score they got from the growth sub-dimension was 12.07±8.70. A statistically significant relationship was found between the total and sub-dimension mean scores of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support and participants' gender, education level, marital status, social security, employment status, place of residence and income status. A statistically significant correlation was found between total and sub-dimension mean scores of the Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale and sub-dimension mean scores of the Recovery Stages Scale (p<0.05). As the total and all sub-dimension mean scores of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support increase, the mean scores of moratorium and awareness, which are sub-dimensions of the Stages of Recovery scale, decrease; preparation, rebuilding and growth sub-dimension mean scores increase.
