Effectiveness of the health care system in the treatment of psychoactive substance abuse

Psychoactive substance use is an important social problem, today began to be seen in every field from metropolises to smaller urban centers, that does not recognize differences between socio-economic and cultural status. As a result of the use of psychoactive substance-dependent individuals to achieve elimination of growing interdependence, ensuring they are treated, as healthy individuals to give back to society is necessary for the protection of public mental health. Research in this direction, psychoactive drug addiction treatment centers to get information about the effectiveness of the services, delivery of services, identify emerging issues, information about these problems in achieving the elimination of the views of professionals working in this field to get a professional and will offer better service to people who need these services units was carried out to ensure the formation.For our research the scan model was used. The sample of our research, in the province of Istanbul substance addiction treatment and research centers, public and private health professionals were in charge. 75.5% of the employees in charge of health treatment centers in the province of Istanbul survey conducted. To analyze the hypotheses of the study, the Peorson Chi-Square Test was used.The findings of our study, the inadequacies of health personnel recruitment procedures, treatment centers, social service professions element not done an adequate level of employment, health care personnel start working without formal training , inequalities in health is the number of personnel participation in service training, service problems between the individuals, their families and health professionals experienced, work environments, poor communication among health professionals that charge and occupation enough to harm the health of employees in teamwork, not done sufficient work to improve the institution of motivation, is less than the number of centers across the country, ensuring the success of treatment with the study team, drug addiction treatment team at least should the acquisition of two years experience, working with health care workers should be under the supervision of supervisor support and corporate administration, proved to be fundamental.
