Psikopatolojik belirtilerin; Kişilerarası ilişki tarzları ve temel kişilik tipleri yönünden incelenmesi

Objective: The aim of this research is investigate to relationship between basic personality types and interpersonal relationship styles, then investigate these relational variables that are they predict or not psychopathological symptoms. Method: The research was done with 360 participant face to face, who live in Istanbul, above 18 years old, no psychiatric diagnosis and no psychiatric drug user. As part of the research, Brief Symptom Inventory, Interpersonal Relationship Styles Scale and Short-form Revised Eysenck Personality Questionnarie, Sociodemographic Properties and Information Form was used for data collector tools. Results: There wasn‟t found any meaningful relationship between introversion and avoidant style. There was positive and meaningful realationship found between neurotic personality type and angery style. Plus, there was positive and meaningful relationship found between extraversion personality type and angery style. Extraversion personality type was unsuccessful to predict hostility symptoms but angery style successfully predicted to hostility symptoms. Neurotic personality type and angery style both, meaningful predictor for anxiety and depression symptoms. Conclusion: In light of these informations, people who are above 18 years old and healthy, there are meaningful relationships between interpersonal relationship styles and personality types and these relations have affects on psychopathological symptoms.
