Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this dissertation is, by taking Kropotkin's view into consideration, to reveal equality and freedom notions of anarchism. In the first chapter, Kropotkin's ideas regarding the human nature and the relationship between individual and society has been mentioned by considering mutual aid theory and evolutionary ethical approach which belong to Kropotkin. According to him, all problems which modern society faces arise from two power centres, namely government power and relationships of capitalist production. In this study, the main ground on which Kropotkin criticised government and capitalism and what he suggested alternatively has been examined. In which ways Kropykin differantiate himself from the other anarchists of the time, such as Bakunin and Proudhon, has been explained. Following this, revolution theory of Kropotkin which he suggested for transition to anarchist-communist society has been discussed. In the final part of the third chapter, by comparing with other anarchists of his time, Kropotkin's approach to gender equality has been examined.
