Rus-Gürcü ilişkilerinde Abhazya sorunu

After 1989, the Georgia knew the problems with his autonomous republic of Abkhazia that have provoked the war because of the national minority claims. Despite that the conflict finished, the region is destabilized again and peace did not be established completely. The relations of the Georgia with the United States increase, but it still linked up economically and militarily to Russia. Nevertheless, politics of Russia in the matter of Abkhazia, is questionable and unstable. The Georgia is located in a region where Russia has strategic interests. The question of Abkhazia represents a essential issue for the Russia in the Georgian-Russian relations.
