Özet (EN)
This work aims to make accessible the philosophy of ethics of Emmanuel Levinas (1906-1995) who is one of the greatest thinkers of contemporary philosophy. In his major work Totality and Infinity, his conception of ethics is presented as an idea of transcendental intentionality. Indeed Levinas borrows the term intentionality from the philosophy of Edmund Husserl. Thus the question of intentionality becomes a central issue between the phenomenology of Husserl and the ethical thinking of Levinas. Our work attempts to compare the notion of intentionality between two philosophers as an introductory effort to the philosophy of ethics. To this end, our work focuses on readings of Levinas of Husserl's phenomenology including Totality and Infinity. And then we try to present the intentionality of transcendence in its generality, comparing it with the theory of the intentionality of phenomenology
