Study of the entry-e of Radloff?s dictionary

This thesis?s aim is to analyse and update e letter in Wilhelm Radloff?s dictionary named as Versuch eines Wörterbuches der Türk-Dialecte - Opıt Slovarya Tyurkskih Nareçiy, in terms of Old Turkic.Firstly, e Letter of Wilhelm Radloff?s dictionary which it is written in Germany and Russian was translated to Turkey Turkish. Then the transcription of main words in Turkish which has been showed by Kril alphabet was constructed according to Turkish transcription system. All main words were lined up according to Turkish alphabet order. Besides, examples which were taken from historical texts for main words were arranged in accordance with new studies.This thesis?s aim is to analyse e letter in terms of Old Turkic and try to find equivalence in Old Turkic of main words and to confirm the correct spelling of word by finding words taken from historical texts (such as from Qutadgu Bilig) by Radloff.
