Abstract (EN)

The magnetic coupling brings many advantages with contactless torque transmission. Magnetic coupling can be examined in 2 topologies eddy and synchronously. According to the travel geometry of the magnetic flux, the clutch appears as radial and axial wisdom. In this study, it is aimed to obtain eddy current radial wired magnetic coupling design in order to obtain contactless power transmission performance. System efficiency cost and suitability for mass production were taken into consideration as design criteria. Variable Separation Method was used as the analytical method. Here, the design of 0.5 Nm torque and 3000 rpm constant speed values and different parameters were analyzed with the finite element method in the ANSYS Maxwell program. Poles number, coupling speed(input), magnet volume, material type and air gap variables were analyzed in order to achieve the optimum design in the analyzes. Poles number, speed, magnet volume, material type and air gap variables were analyzed in order to achieve the optimum design in the analyzes. 71% of the input mechanical power was transferred to the opposite side without any contact with the radial wedge eddy current aluminum magnetic coupling with 3000 rpm input speed and 1 mm air gap. This result was solved by analysis and confirmed by the test results. Magnetic analyses and experiments were carried out for an air gap of 1, 2 and 3 mm. In addition, the design with 3 mm air gap was applied to a pump and subjected to flow and pressure test within the closed closed system. As a result of the test, the pump motor was able to recirculate 4438 liters of water per hour. Thus, the need for sealing in the pump has been eliminated and pumping has been carried out in a completely isolated manner.
