With the development of the Internet of Things concept, the concept of smart home has entered the lives of people in recent years. In this way, when people are away from home or workplace, they can instantly monitor the changes occurring in these places and control the devices in the place remotely. In addition, data such as temperature, humidity, gas, flame, motion and floods in the environment can be monitored and alarms related to this data can be generated and users can be informed when such alarm conditions occur. Many systems have been developed on the instant monitoring of remote data and such systems are developing with the rapid development of technology. Remote sensing systems in the market can be costly depending on the data to be monitored, the number of users and the communication technique. Within the scope of this study, a remote environment monitoring system has been developed with Raspberry Pi minicomputer. The environments in which this system is installed can be monitored remotely via internet browsers and e-mails can be sent to the persons identified in the system when pre-determined alarm conditions occur. In addition, limits can be defined for the physical values of the environment; when these limits are exceeded, notifications are made in the warnings window. The system in this study; it is designed to monitor physical conditions in indoor environments such as data centers, greenhouses and homes.
