Abstract (EN)

Due to increasing economic problems and environmental factors, the preferability of railway vehicles has increased. The increasing interest in railways has revealed the existence of a signaling system that remains incomplete and needs to be developed. In this project, information is given about the signaling system that forms the basis of railways. Information is given about the processes that the signaling system, which has a historical development, goes through from day to day, the equipment that makes up the signaling system, and its characteristics. High-speed trains, which are also developing in our country and whose work is increasing every day, contribute to our country in many ways economically, educationally, health and culturally. The number of people who prefer rail transportation rather than road transportation is also increasing day by day. In this project, information about the signaling system planned for the Cerkezkoy-Kapikule high-speed train project, which is under construction, and the issues that need to be considered when planning this system have been provided. It will be informative in terms of signaling systems that will be designed for the next high-speed train projects.
