Realist theory in the study which has the title of understanding the American hegemony in the context of the First and Second Gulf Wars

American Hegemony which continues unipolarly in the bipolar system formed by the USA and the USSR after the Second World War and after the collapse of the USSR Which has a geopolitically critical role in the Middle East was explained in the context of 'realist theory' in the study which has the title of "Understanding the American Hegemony in the Context of the First and Second Gulf Wars ". Firstly, The first Gulf War (Desert Storm Operation), which was first carried out by the United States and nearly fourty states including the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Egypt, in order to remove Iraq from Kuwait, was dealt by associating with 'realist' notions. The 9/11 suicide attacks by planes on World Trade Center and The Ministry of Defence (Pentagon) by El kaide militants guaranteed that there would be a big change in US foreign policy. In this context policy "containment" and "deterrence" that had been implemented since Cold War Era was abandoned and "pre-emptive intervention" doctrine was implemented in invasion of Iraq and Second Golf War after the fall of Afghan Regime.
