Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this SESA study; is to evaluate the stress caused by the use of MTA, CEM and Biodentin in different thicknesses in RET, as a result of applying maximum biting and trauma forces on the immature permanent central tooth. Material and Method: Modeling was done with a computer program using the CBCT image of the immature maxillary tooth. The immature healthy tooth was determined as the control group. 7 models were created by applying CEM, MTA and Biodentin in 3mm and 5mm thicknesses to the immature tooth. A force of 300N/90° in the horizontal direction and 240N/120° in the oblique direction from the palatal surface was applied to the labial surface. The resulting stresses were evaluated as Von Mises and maximum-minimum principal stresses. Results: In RET applied models, it was observed that the stress values in dental tissues decreased coMPared to the control group. When material thicknesses are coMPared; in both forces, there was no significant difference in stress values between the 3mm and 5mm models. CEM and Biodentin absorbed forces more and transmitted less stress to dental tissues coMPared to MTA. Conclusion: RET is a treatment that reinforced the teeth biomechanically. CEM and Biodentin are biomechanically as successful as MTA and can be preferred over MTA because they are more economical. 3mm material thickness is sufficient to provide optimum stress distribution in RET. More studies are needed to evaluate the biomechanical properties of CEM and coronal barrier materials and their thickness in use in RET. Key Words: Biodentin, CEM, MTA, Regenerative endodontic treatment, Finite Element Stress Analysis.
