Abstract (EN)
Competition Law and Unfair Competition Law are known as two areas of law that regulate the competition. It is significant to examine the relationship between Competition Law and Unfair Competition Law as the intersection between these two fields is expanding in today's world. Competition Law and Unfair Competition Law together play an important role in the free and fair functioning of competition. For this role, it can be stated that both fields of law are in a relationship, where one cannot fulfill its purpose without the other one. The difference between the two areas arises in this context in terms of the types of violations they are regulating and the sanctions envisaged based on these types of violations. In this respect, it can be said that in the case of a violation within the scope of both fields, the applicant shall be able to select one of the legal protections provided by both areas and benefit from it.
