Restrictive role of Competition Law rules over intellectual property preservation

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the features of the relationship between intellectual property law and competition law and reveal the touch or conflict points of these two disciplines. In the first chapter, the general principles of IP law, in the second chapter the general principles of competition law and in the third chapter some spesific situations alongside of the essential relationship between these two disciplines are examined. In the context of the specific situations, the limitations to IP rights with the purpose of protection of competition are more intensely examined.
