Abstract (EN)

Physical impairments, one of the benefits of technologic developments of today's World, is one of the most important topics. When considering working life and Daily movement of man, there are several different disruptions, diseases and deformations on individuals because of various reasons. One of these diseases and deformations is low back and/or back pain. In this study, the frequency of receiving physiotherapy in individuals with low back and/or back pain according to participation status in recreational activities have been studied. In this study, scanning methodwhich question the current situation, is used. The working group of the study consisted of 150 patients who participated voluntarily with consent form who applied fort he treatment of low back and/or back pain in physiotherapy units of 1 public and 3 private hospitals in Batman city center. The data about socio-demographic information and the frequency of receiving phsyiotherapy were obtained by "personal information form" designed by teh researcher, and data on physical activity were obtained by "IPAQ Short Form-International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form". The statistical analysis of the data was made by using SPSS 22 package programme. At the end of the research, it was seen that the participants whose physical activity level was inactive and the frequency of receiving physiotherapy was more than 12 months, were predominate. There was o moderate significant correlation in a negative way between physical activity levels and the frequency of receiving physiotherapy. While physical activity levels vary significantly according to the participant's gender and working time variables, the frequency of receiving physiotherapy is not significantly changed. It was observed that as the age group increased, the physical activity levels and the frequency of receiving physiotherapy decreased, and the physical activity levels decreased as the body weight inceased. It was observed that physical activity levels and the frequency of receiving physiotherapy were not significantly changed according to participant's height and job variables, and the physical activity levels of participants, whose Daily working time was high, were higher than other groups, and the physical activity levels of participants decreased, as the pain scale increased.
