Abstract (EN)
This research is a comparison between the low cost houses in Libya and Turkey by means of the changes made during the usage of the houses. The question that presents itself as to understand the demands and living style differences between Libyan cultures and Turkish cultures, in usage of the houses. No doubt that the main utilities are similar to each other in the above-mentioned cultures that most the Middle East countries have in common. But also there are differences in them. This research points out important issues related to home-life related to these two Middle East countries. It is evident from this study that governments do not care about the culture or traditions of the occupants, so families living in these apartments have made constructional changes in the houses they live.
