Abstract (EN)

In this study, 199 issues of Resimli Perşembe journal which was published between 1925-1929 were analyzed. Resimli Perşembe is the journal of Zekeriya Sertel and his wife Sabiha Sertel who are the owners of Resimli Ay which is one of the most important journals of the period. Therefore we can say that the journal is a line of Resimli Ay journal. There are lots of literary articles in the journal which had four years of publishing life. Apart from literary articles, there are also intellectual articles, columns, pictures and photographs included. The plan of study in which 199 issues of journal are analyzed is as such. First of all, form and content properties of journal were mentioned, detailed information and examples about literary texts were given. In the same section, authors of journal and their works were mentioned. Moreover, the attitude of journal towards women writers and support for modernization of women were focused on. In the third and fourth section, the index of jornal was presented. The index was analyzed first according to subject and in the next section according to issue number. Following the index section memoirs of Ahmed Rasim and detective stories of Sâlih Münir were adapted into Latin letters. Sticking to the original form, any simplification was not made in these texts. As a result, in this thesis, in the light of literary works published in ?Resimli Perşembe? journal, the relation of journal with literature was put forward. We hope that this thesis would contribute to the enlightenment of history of Turkish literature. Key Words: Resimli Perşembe, Resimli Ay, Sertel, Ahmed Rasim, Sâlih Münir
