Evolution of resort kids clubs

Family tourism is a constantly growing market. For this reason, resort hotels are adding new family-oriented investments every day. Resort kids clubs are being renewed, updated and strengthened. This dynamic process is fed by many factors. With the research in which the grounded theory study was carried out, it was aimed to create the definitions for the children's clubs of resort hotels and to put forward a theory that explains how resort kids clubs have changed from the past to the present. Interviews with experts who can provide detailed information on the subject were examined with the continuous comparative analysis technique and some findings were reached. First of all, many terms and workflows that are missing in the field of resort kids clubs have been defined. 5 themes were determined to explain the evolution process of resort kids clubs and the impact flow of these 5 themes was discussed. The change in the kids club was identified as the core phenomenon. In particular, the change in the guests of the resort kids club and the decisions of the senior management have a direct impact on the change of the kids club. It has been revealed that the dynamics in the accommodation sector and supporting sectors also feed this change. It has been determined that the evolution in question can be studied in 3 phases.
