Abstract (EN)

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the validity and reliability of questionnaires and performance tests used to evaluate function in patients who have undergone revision total knee arthroplasty. Method: Sixty-six patients with revision knee arthroplasty at least 1 year past surgery were included in the study. Mean age of the patients were 69,47±9,277. In order to examine the validity and reliability of the self-report questionnaires; The Hospital for Special Surgery Knee Score, Short Form-12 Quality of Life Questionnaire, performance tests; Fifty Foot Walk Test, Thirty Second Sit-Stand Test, Four Stair Climb Test were applied to the participants. All tests was performed twice. The correlation level between the Short Form-12 Quality of Life questionnaire and performance tests was examined to determine the validity of the Hospital for Special Surgery Knee Score and performance tests. Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) models were used to analyze the test-retest reliability of all tests applied. Results: The questionnaires and performance tests examined showed an excellent level of test-retest reliability (ICC>, 95). Hospital for Special Surgery Left Knee Score has good validity (rho> 0.774), Hospital for Special Surgery Right Knee Score (rho> 0.582), Fifty Foot Walk Test (rho> -0.389), Thirty Second Sit-Stand Test (rho> 0.432), Four Stair Climb Test (rho> - 0,502) was found to have moderate validity. Conclusion: According to our results, HSS Knee Score, SF-12 Quality of Life Questionnaire, 50FWT, 30SOCT, 4BMT tests are valid and reliable in patients who have undergone RTDA. It can be used to assessment the function in patients with RTDA in the clinical settings.
