Abstract (EN)

Sayyid Hacı Ahmed Baba from Sanamer, who was instrumental in the settlement of the Rifaî sect in Eastern Anatolia, was born in the town of Hoşab (Guzelsu) in Van in 1792, and was appointed to the Lower Pasins of Erzurum from Van with a spiritual mission. He settled in the village of Sanamer. Seyyid Hacı Ahmed Baba, who started the activities of guidance by opening a dervish lodge here, trained 72 caliphs and thousands of disciples, is an important mystic who died here in 1912 at the age of 120. He received his first education and mysticism training in the convent of his father, and he attained perfection under his supervision. Hacı Ahmed Baba traveled to Anatolia on the mission of guidance, then went to Istanbul, and from there he went to the Hijaz to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. Returning from Hijaz, after a two-year education in Pir Muhammet Küfrevi convent, he came to the Pasinler region of Erzurum with his brother, upon a spiritual sign he received from his father at the age of 36. These two brothers settled in the village of Hacı Ahmed Baba (Sanamer), which is on the lower border of Asagi Pasin and has a bird's eye view of the Narman district along with Pasin. Sayyid Haji Ahmed Baba from Sanamer, who adopted a Sufi understanding based on love and compassion, guided people in his age and left a mark on people's minds and hearts. Hacı Şaban Efendi, the master of Rifaîsm in Bayburt, was born in 1901 in Bayburt and spent all her life in this region, and is a Sufi that the local people care about. In 1938, he met Hacı Ahmed Baba from Kaleardı, one of the sheikhs of Rifaî, and joined him and completed his course in the Rifaî Sect. When Ahmed Baba was alive, he appointed him as the caliph among the witnesses with full approval. Hacı Şaban Efendi, who touched the hearts of people with his compassion and benevolence, is one of the important personalities of Bayburt, who left a mark on the people of his time. In this study, the lives, scientific, literary figures, mystical lives and views of the Rifaî sheiks, Hacı Ahmed Baba and Hacı Şaban Efendi from Sanamer, were tried to be revealed.
