Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this thesis is used nasal stypes after rhinoplasty of inflammation in the nose with the effects which are inflammatory of cytokines; EGF, PDGF, TGF-ß1 and TGF- ß2 is determines by measuring the transition in postoperative period. In this study, in 20 cases of rhinoplasty operations made by silicone stype, with vaseline-impregnated gas was used in 20 cases. Taking in samples from nasal secretions EGF, PDGF, TGF-ß1 and TGF- ß2 levels were measured in days of 2nd, 7th and 14th. The data obtained from these measurements were compared in between two groups. Temporal changes of these cytokines were also separately examined. Results in both groups, the EGF, TGF-ß1 and TGF- ß2 of 2nd, 7th and 14th levels of days did not change but, however the PDGF were determined rapidly decreased after two days. Values of PDGF, TGF-ß1 and TGF- ß2 in comparisons of the two groups were didn?t detected typical differences in the 2nd, 7th and 14th days. However, the EGF level in group which being used the silicone stype was higher in 2nd and 14th days.In these results, between silicone stype and vaseline-impregnated gas just because of higher of EGF level, in group which being applied silicone stype could be said of that the inflammatory response was much more.
