Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the nucleation effect of RO2 containing crystals under fast firing conditions. For this purpose, TiO2 and ZrO2 crystals were added as nucleators at the ratios of %0.5 – 1 – 3 – 5 – 7 -10 by weight into the matte and transparent glaze. It was determined that ZrO2 and TiO2 contribution were effective in the development of feldspar in glaze structure. At the same time, ZrO2 and TiO2 showed opposite properties. It has been determined that the contribution ratio of ZrO2 and TiO2 as nucleator should be determined according to the desired properties in the glaze.
