Özet (EN)
The fact that jobs that are being completed by resorting to human power are being done by robots has a positive impact on the efficiency rate. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is not limited to being just a mechanism. Especially in the automotive sector, more and more important developments are being made. Even though RPA is expressed as a useful automation software that automates working processes with the mechanisms it contains, there are points where it has limitations. Some of these limitations are that it can only be used in rule-based work stages, data interpretation and interpretation, and generally require human effort, and the efficiency effect of RPA in the automotive sector is observed within the scope of the study. The automotive sector, as an industry that requires complex production processes and high-volume data management, can greatly benefit from the potential benefits of RPA. In this study, the use of the Vehicle Energy Consumption Calculation Tool (VECTO) simulation, which calculates vehicle energy consumption in the automotive sector and has a very complex flow, will be discussed with RPA. This simulation calculates the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions with the technical features and information of the vehicle. The calculated values are then uploaded to the EU Commission system. The study addresses how these processes are performed with RPA, how they affect efficiency and other factors. The process was first analyzed and its documentation was prepared. Then, all the rules of the process were clarified and developed in UiPath Studio, an RPA product. While manual human effort for the process takes an average of 180 minutes for 1 process, this process was reduced to 8 minutes with the robot.
