Abstract (EN)
This study includes evaluations on the poverty situation and labor abuse of children in the Romani Communities. Children are the most important building blocks of the future. Today, as in the past, children experience the most severe form of poverty. Although child poverty and labor has decreased, it still continues and is among the problems that need to be solved urgently. In the research, firstly, theoretical information is given. In addition, the studies conducted with the Romani Communities were examined and the basis for the analysis part of the study was prepared. This research aims to determine the situation of labor abuse, social exclusion and poverty of Romani Children. Within the scope of the research, a survey was conducted in Çınarlı District and 100. Yıl District in Bandırma. A total of 189 families were interviewed. The findings obtained from the interviews were subjected to statistical analysis and the poverty status and labor abuse level of children in the Roma communities living in Bandırma were determined.
