The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between psychological capital and emotional labor in mental health workers and to investigate the effect of psychological capital on emotional labor. 154 mental health workers working in the central districts of Samsun province participated in the study voluntarily. Demographic Information Form, Psychological Capital Scale and Emotional Labor Scale were presented to the participants, and the data were collected by online survey method. A total of 154 people, including 27 psychiatrists, 25 psychologists, 91 nurses/health workers and 11 other mental health personnel, participated in the study.Results of the analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between psychological capital and emotional labor, and psychological capital has a positive effect on emotional labor. It has been observed that surface behavior is not related to psychological capital, in-depth behavior and natural behavior are positively influenced by psychological capital. The findings of the research were discussed in line with the literature, the results and limitations of the research were explained, and suggestions for future studies were presented.
