Eurasianism in russian foreign policy and Turkey

Russian Federation as a successor to the USSR after the Cold War, has had to face very different problems. Political, economic and social problems has been pushed Russia to new searches in foreign policy during this period. It was tried to find the answers to the questions of where the place of Russia and what of the Russian mission is in the new world. Eurasianism, with the satisfactory answers given to these questions has influenced the decision-makers and the Russian bureaucracy, so, have started to divert domestic and foreign policy in recent years. Eurasians, tried to identify regional and global priorities in Russian geopolitics by using the historical data as well. In Russian foreign policy, new threats and axes of cooperation have been identified with the help of Eurasian aproach and its priorities, and has been developed strategies for the ideal of being a "big power" again in the international arena.
