Abstract (EN)
Imperialism can be defined as the policy that a policy used by one state to impose itself on other states and sovereignty over other states in political, economic, military and cultural issues. Imperialism has been interpreted and theorized in different ways by many thinkers from past to present. The First World War was a turning point for imperialism theories. The Eurasian Economic Union is an organization whose origins date back to twenty-five years and established by Russia under the leadership of Kazakhstan. Today, the greatest power of the Eurasian Economic Union is Russia. Russia has implemented hegemonic policies on the Eurasian Economic Union with the principle of regaining its power in the USSR period. These policies implemented by Russia are related to the imperialism. Russia's movements in the Eurasian Economic Union are imperialist movements. In this thesis, it is determined that Russia has hegemonic attitudes within the framework of Eurasian Economic Union. It is seen that Russia maintains its imperialism in unity and region. Before starting the discussion, the framework of the imperialism was drawn, Russia has been outlined over the Eurasian Economic Union. Imperialism and practice were evaluated together.
