Abstract (EN)
The Black Sea basin is an area whose strategic value increased in the post-Soviet period and contains many disputed frozen conflict zones. The Black Sea Basin, located in the immediate vicinity of Russia, has been the scene of political changes and military conflicts in recent years, including non-regional actors. As Western powers expanded their sphere of influence into the basin through the process of color revolutions since the early 2000s, Russia began to pursue a more active policy in the Black Sea. Frozen conflict zones, on the other hand, moved again after the Soviet Union, and conflicts between the parties flared up over time. The process of color revolutions and new structures in frozen conflict zones have begun to change the current appearance of the Black Sea. In this study, the history of the Black Sea Basin and its place in geopolitical theories are discussed in the first chapter, The Black Sea strategy of Russia and the regional struggle are discussed in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the process of colored skins in the Black Sea and Russia's strategy for frozen conflict zones are discussed, In addition to this information, the history of the Black Sea and how Russia's approach to the Black Sea, which is the southern ares, is shaped, are discussed.
